Bill and Linda married 44 years, no children, met at Va Tech in the Horticulture Dept---I was in the Navy for 4 years--Linda worked for the Va Extension Service and returned to Tech for a Masters---I started Smithfield Gardens in 1972, a retail garden center at some point run by Linda, while I did the landscape design and installation---retired in 02 in Isle of Wight County after selling the business and never looked back---we have been gardening in our own landscape since then---Linda hybridizes day lilies and I do pottery and now some glass in an on site studio---looking forward to having you all over in Oct
